Loyal followers of this program already know that I have a weak spot for tracks between Hip Hop and Dancehall.  
It's certainly not my first show featuring Raggamuffin Hip Hop and Mash-Ups.

So for a change I start this one with Rap and Raggamuffin from France. Many thanks to Tribuman for showing me some killa tunes!
Well known artists like Admiral T, Suprême NTM, Lord Kossity or Big Red of Raggasonic alongside gems from Kenyon, Reimo, Tairo and Poopa Tribuman himself.

Off course I play some US and UK Hip Hop, too. The great Deadly Hunta, Tek of Smith'n'Wessun, Rodney P, Dub Pistols, Mike Zoot and many more.

The last 30 minutes are dedicated to the Oldschool of Raggamuffin Hip Hop. Early 90s tracks from Main Source, Jamal-Ski, Shinehead, Mad Lion, Redhead Kinpin...

Unfortunately sometimes during the recording the left stereo channel drops out for a few seconds. It seems that one of the cables of my Technics is broken. I could not do much during the show scince its all live but I hope to get it fixed till next time. Sorry for that!

We have another special for you this week. This time its all about the mother land of rhythms. Music from Africa - not that kind you would label "world music" - club music!
There´s lots of different styles to discover and I´m far from being an expert. So let me just play tunes I like and I hope you like them, too.

First half of the show is about Bongo Flava. It seems that this is the east african answer to Dancehall, Hip Hop and R&B. Sounds a little like Reggaeton :) Its origins are in Tanzania but over the years it also became very popular in Uganda, Kenya, Nigeria and other african countrys.
In the second half the show becomes more clubby. Afrobeats, Afro House and lots of Azonto - the current hype dance from Ghana.
