Another long podcast. Over two hours of finest bass and offbeats.
And its not getting boring, no worries! Lots of new tracks in this show.
Starting with some bass heavy tracks like Stylo G's "Soundbwoy" remixed by Wundah; "OG Roots" and the "In Your Eyes" remix featuring Johnny Osbourne from Lost City - the heavy new jungle project of Noah D and No Thing from L.A.; or Dub Unit ft. Speng Bound's "Ganja Man" in a massive Dub Terminator Remix.
After a little jungle selection it gets funky in the second hour. My favourite tune here is Leo's "24ct Funk" - a ghetto funk mashup of Jurassic Five's "Whats Golden". Big tune!

The Year 2012

One year is over, many music we had played for you. Thanks to all musical guest´s and DJ´s and interested listener´s. We look forward to 2013 and wish all Vibes Promotion friend´s and musiclistener´s a good start into the new year!

In February iLLBiLLY HiTEC will release their first album on the excellent ECHO BEACH label.

You can hear already tow songs right now. These songs include the very powerful "Higher Calling" ft. Longfingah.

There is already a very nice video. WATCH IT!

The second song is a combination of iLLBiLLY HiTEC ft. Lady N & Longfingah - "State Of Emergency" by iLLBiLLY HiTEC. The artists show their talent on the skanking dance riddim of iLLBiLLY HiTEC.
 

Lady N from Moscow (Russia) had released in december 2012 also their second album on Boomrush Productions called N`Cognito. She is one of the hottest female dancehall artists across Europe, referring both to her attractiveness and her progressive and groundbreaking understanding of dancehall and music in general. Her songs are produced on the highest technical level and scintillate through her unique style of singing. That makes her the opposite of a cheap copy of other artist‘ styles as it has become sadly common throughout the reggae and dancehall scene.

East To West - Riddim by iLLBiLLY HiTEC

The B-Side Track of VIPR-001 iLLBiLLY HiTEC ft. Longfingah "East To West" is now extended to a full Riddim Selection!
Tribuman & Akai4000 allready released a version on the East To West Riddim earlier this year. Its still for free download on iLLBiLLY HiTEC´s Soundcloud.

The riddim features artists, iLLBiLLY HiTEC met on tour all over the world from New Delhi to Mexico City. Artists they like and more important artists who should get more exposure outside of their countrys
Over the next months every sunday a new version will be released.

Today the version of Zafayah & Kappa Irie "Nice Up Di Sound" marks the starting point.
Bulgaria in the house!!!



Zafayah - a Bulgarian artist, songwriter, producer and co-founder of Roots Rocket label (1st Bulgarian reggae label). He has participated in several EP-s and international compilations, and is just about to release Zafayah Meets Dub Caravan EP - "Out Loud" and his own produced riddim compilation called "Bun Vampayah". Zafayah has performed in Greece, Macedonia, Romania, Serbia, Slovenia, Sweden, UK and worked with artists such as Ras Zacharri, Toussaint, Mystic Vision, Mysticman, Danjah to name a few. Zafayah is a versatile artist covering genres such as Roots Reggae, Soul and Hip-hop; his topics range from oppression, poverty and social injustice to smooth and soulful lyrics that soothe the mind.

K-Irie aka Kappa Irie comes from Sofia, Bulgaria, and started dealing with reggae music back in 2003. He is a devoted Rastaman from the tribe of Napthali and one of the founders of the first Bulgarian sound system and reggae promoting agency called “Zionlionz Soundsystem.” His love for Rastafari and the reggae sound keeps growing alongside the sound system that is very proactive and realizes almost all major reggae acts in the country and so far has featured guest artists like: Macka B, Mad Professor, Percydread (Natural Ites), General Levy, Ras Demo, Ras Zacharri, Solo Banton, YT, Mr. Williamz to name a few. Recently Kappa I started to give a more vocal representation of his vision and conscious mission of spreading JAH message across the world. One of the latest show collaborations was done with iLLBILLY HiTEC ft. Longfingah, who mashed up Sofia in March 2012. These musical connections lead to the creation of the single “Nice Up Di Sound” together with fellow idren Zafayah riding on iLLBiLLY HiTEC’s “East To West” riddim.

DrmZ starts this show with an unconventional Stalag selection. Rap Legends like Main Source, Pete Rock & C.L. Smooth, Redhead Kingpin and Kardinal Offishal show their skillz on this classic reggae riddim. "Signs" is another Hip Hop / Reggae Bastard : Tenor Fly on the Rockford Rock Version produced by The Freestylers. Another podcast by OHRWO. In it he presenting the brandnew POWA CUT001 7" release called "Do You Love" by the big Horace Andy.

In the podcast some fresh tunes are taken from the new Jahtarian Dubbers Vol. 03 12" LP, the space is no longer a space(top secret). The next  good 7" is a song by Soom T at Renegade Masters (RM002) called "Voice of Dissent". Than OHRWO play some Grime/Dubstep tunes on the turntable from DJ MADD alongside MC Rebell "No Tomorow"  and the new release from the Build Records (BUILD007) with a deep tune by Baobinga& I.D. ft.
